Best Graphics Settings to Fix FPS Drops and boost Framerate

One of the most anticipated games of this year, which is probably also one of the best looter shooter games of this year, Outriders is finally out. Given the hype this game has generated since it was announced in 2019, you can pretty much guarantee that people who are fans of co-op shooters like Destiny 2 and Borderlands 3 are going to try it out.

Gamers using high-end gaming setups won’t have many performance issues with the game. It is the low to middle income end-users who face many problems. Characteristics of our test bench equipment

It makes no sense to test on game platforms with high-end graphics cards. Because, let’s face it, all games run smoothly on an RTX 3080 or RX 5700 XT. For this reason, we used Outriders on a very basic and mediocre gaming PC. Here are the full specifications of our installation:

  • GPU: Zotac GTX 1050 ti
  • RAM: 16GB DDDR4 3000 MHz

Well, after testing the game for almost 2 hours on the GTX 1050 ti, one thing is clear to me now. Outriders is not exactly an easy or sought after title. And the GTX 1050 ti is probably not the best GPU for gaming. But considering it’s a AAA title in 2021, 40-45 FPS is pretty respectable if you ask me. As long as you’re not obsessed with playing at 60 FPS or higher, you should have fun with this game. Explosions on the screen cause fps drops. However, they can easily be overlooked. Enjoy the game!
