To Connect with Friends, Find Your Contacts On Twitter

You might consider sharing your contacts with Twitter if your account has been around for some time.

When you sign up for a Twitter account, you can enter either an email address or a number. Twitter will show any contacts that are related to your phones or emails when you sync them. This makes it easy to locate your friends. After your contacts have been uploaded, Twitter can suggest other people to follow.

This article will briefly discuss how to locate contacts via Twitter.

Find your contacts on Twitter

1. Download the Twitter app to your smartphone.

2. You can access the menu by tapping the profile icon at the upper left corner.

3. Choose ” Privacy” in the menu.

4. Under your username, tap “Privacy and Safety” in the Settings and Privacy Menu.

5. Scroll down to tap ” Contacts & discoverability”

6. Switch on “Sync Address Book and Contacts“.

7. To complete the process, tap ” sync contacts“, then click OK to confirm.

To access contacts synced with your phone, simply return to step 6 You can view all of your contacts and choose the ones you want to follow.

Upload Yahoo Contacts to Twitter

Step 1. Login to Yahoo. Select Contacts from the left menu. Click Export to the Tools List Box. Yahoo! Click Yahoo!

Step2: Open the file with Notepad and save it to a text file.

Step3: Open the file using Notepad. You can replace the space between “” and “”. Once again, replace “” by a space. Now each contact should be listed with their email address, First and Last names on one line.

Step 4. Delete the line that contains “First Name”, “Last Name,” etc.

Step 5. Now, go through the file and delete any entries that do not include @email.com after the email address.

In the text file, “[email protected]” will display as just “myyahooid.” Cut and paste these records into a new document.

Step 6. Look out for any errors, like blank lines. You should distribute it evenly. This stage is crucial.

Step7: Open Microsoft Excel. Click on the Date tab and choose Get External Data From TEXT. Browse to the text file you just opened.

Step 8. Press Next. Select the Comma box in Step 2. Next, complete the process by saying “Next.” Click OK.

Step9: Remove first and last names in the first column.

Step10: Copy the entire column with email addresses to a notepad. You now have a list with email addresses. Separate the ids by using a comma.

Finally, search for “.com”, and replace it (without double quotations). Any domains ending in “.in”, replace them with “.com”. Go to Find People-> Send an invitation via email on Twitter. After pasting all the addresses, say “invite”.

Connect Facebook Users to Twitter

Step 1 You will need to have a Yahoo! You will need a Yahoo! or other email account to start. If you have one, it’s ready for action.

Step2 The contact tab can be found at the top right of your webpage after you have signed up for an account. A new window with contacts selections will open when you click the contact tab.

3 Select “Import contacts” from the drop-down menu. The new tab will display a list with links to several social media platforms where your contacts can be imported. Select Facebook from the dropdown menu.

Step 4. Yahoo! You must obtain the permission and confirm from the user. The screen will now display a Facebook permission window, asking for login information.

Step 5. To import contacts, click ‘OK.

From the drop-down menu, select ‘Import contacts. The new tab will display a list with links to several social media platforms where your contacts can be imported. Select Facebook from the dropdown menu.

Step 6. Once all data has been processed successfully, a window with the message “Congratulations” will be displayed on your screen. This indicates that the entire process is completed. Tap Done to complete the process.

7. Login to Twitter using your username/password. Scroll down until you find the Twitter Importer Tool. Click on it or the “Discover” option, then click “Find Friends”.

Get all your Linkedin contacts to follow your Twitter feed

Twitter Will Notify Contacts If You Sign Up For

Logging in to Twitter Mobile App will prompt you to sync your contacts. You can decline to accept the request. All of your contacts will be notified that the application has been allowed to sync contacts.

Check if your contacts have Twitter

Choose Discoverability or Contacts from the drop-down menu. You can sync contacts from your addressbook. Twitter automatically uploads contacts to your address book when you sync contacts. All of your address book connections that have joined Twitter are displayed.

Removing Contacts from Twitter

1. Use the mobile app to log in to Twitter.

2. Click the icon with three lines in the upper-left corner.

3. Navigate now to ” Privacy and Settings”.

4. Navigate to ” Privacy & Security“.

5. Visit ” Contacts & Discoverability”

6. Next to “Sync Address Book Contacts”, remove the checkmark and select “Remove All Contacts” from the dropdown menu. To confirm, click “Yes.”
